October 1, 2009 – With a fresh dusting of snow in the mountains and the 09/10 riding season peeking over the horizon, Seattle got a little stoke for the upcoming winter months. Thursday, Oct 1 MSP premiered its latest masterpiece, In Deep, hosted by the King Cat Theater downtown. Red Bull made sure all the teenagers were sufficiently caffeinated, beers and other social lubricants were flowing steady and moods were high.

Pep Fujas and the entire Cycle for a Cause crew was selling raffle tickets for some incredible prizes. Limited edition skis from K2, apparel and goggles from Oakley and mixed goody bags were all given out to lucky MSP fans. All proceeds of the raffle went to the support Cycle for a Cause’s fundraiser. If you haven’t heard about what they are doing check them out!

Obvious jokes aside, In Deep was truly a great film. The opening segment from Whistler young-gun Sean Pettit was explosive, jaw dropping and inspiring. Women felt week to the knees after seeing Sean slay AK lines and men were reduced to tears of joy at the sight of smooth, effortless 360s. Well that’s not entirely true but the level of riding in the opening segment, as well as the rest of the film, was unbelievable. Whether it’s the cliff jumping acrobatics of Rory Bushfield, the seemingly impromptu music video or McConkey’s tribute segment, In deep is a sure crowd pleaser.

If you missed out on the premiere make sure to pick up a copy, throw your skis on in your living room and start dreaming of deep powder!
